Satellite question answer

Yes, that is what it looks like, plus I have the receiver with it as well. Both new and never used.

Do you have to add a plan to your dish contract?

I don't know. I have never used it. It is still brand new in the box. I would think that if you currently have a plan, I don't know why you would need another. I think you may need to ask your current plan provider that question.

If you already have Dish, no. I use the receiver in my Master bedroom. When we pack up to go camping, I take it with me and hook it up when I set up. Same programming I get at the house. If you want local channels for the market you are in, you call their 800 number and they hook you up. I've had it about 8 months an use it every time we go camping. It can be tough to get all the satellites if you have heavy tree cover, but when we tailgate, I sit it on top of the Sabre and I'm good to go!

If you already have dish. You can take a receiver from your house and put it in your camper. Other way is call dish and get another receiver for $5.00 a month. That's what I did. Hope this helps.

X2 on this. If you buy the set you will have to add the receiver to your Dish contract just like having an additional room at home.

I've asked the same question.
Waiting for a reply.

If you already have Dish and you buy the additional receiver all you do is setup your campsite and call Dish and ask them to turn on your 211 receiver. When you return from camping you call Dish and ask them to turn off your 211 receiver. You are only billed for the actual days used. If you choose to leave it turned on it will be $7 per month. This is the best deal going, it cost practically nothing to have Dish TV while camping.
