ProPride 3P Hitch With 1,000 lb Bars

Being recently retired, I have just downsized from my 2010 Jayco Eagle 298 RLS/2010 Silverado 2500 HD Duramax TT/TV combo to a Class B this month. As a result of this change, I am selling the ProPride 3P hitch system that had provided me with almost 5 years of outstanding, dependable and stress free towing service. Instead of driving with white knuckles, I could literally drive with one hand when towing the TT/TV combo with this hitch system.

The hitch is in excellent condition, with all the parts, including the hitch ball, an additional power cord extension, and the complete installation instructions manual.

I am in the NE Ohio area and prefer not to have to deal with the packing and shipping of this heavy hitch. For this reason, even I had paid about $2,500 for the hitch, I am asking $1,000 for it.

By the way, for those who may want the heavier bars, they are easily replaceable as all the rest of the hitch parts are the same. On the other hand, Sean, the owner of 3P, told me that the 1,000 bars actually were better suited for my TT/TV combo than the heavier ones.

Yes, it is still available although I have already received a couple inquires through PM.

I live in Brecksville, OH, but the hitch is currently stored at Broadview Heights, OH, an adjacent town that is few miles from my home. It is sitting inside a climate control room that I am renting at a commercial storage place where I also store my RV. It will take about 2 to 2.5 hrs to drive here from Monroe, Mi.

DARNIT. Just my luck.. This was posted 3 days after I ordered one from ProPride. Would have loved to save $1500... Someone is definitely getting a great deal!

Can you post some pictures of your 3PP hitch? Does it have the adjustable hitch head? Thanks.

I am in negotiations with SWMBO (DW) about this investment. Besides the cost, the long, 2-day roundtrip to pick it up is a contributing factor.

I am sorry that our timing did not work out for you and I agree with you that this unit will definitely be a great deal for the person who comes along at the right time. I have no doubt that this hitch, at $1000, will provide the same superior towing performances as a brand new one that will cost $2500.

Yes, the hitch does have the adjustable hitch bar. In fact, the adjustable hitch bar was one of the major reasons that I decided to buy the 3P instead of the Hensley that didn't have one. The advantage, of course, is that you won't need a new hitch bar if you should ever change your TT or TV.

Here's a picture of the 3P hitch on my previous TT. The hitch bar, which is normally inserted into the receiver of the truck, is attached to the main hitch unit for demonstration process.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any other questions. Hope you get the ok of your DW.

It appears that I am having some problem in posting the photo. I have tried a couple more times but still without success. Each time the message crashed as soon as I hit the insert picture button (the mountain logo). Does anyone know why? Thanks!

The hitch has been sold this morning to a local buyer. Thanks for those who had responded to my post.

After hitting send it took me to the last post in the thread with my answer. This forum is almost as tricky to maneuver on my phone as my 29' TT without a pro pride. ;-)
