We decided to sell since we never seem to have time to use it although we have kept the maintenance up to date. This Motorhome is ready for the road and for the snowbirds who want to just get in and go.
We have done 2 oil changes a year using Mobile1 Synthetic oil and Ford filter, one in spring and one before winter storage as well as a full grease job on the front end every fall. Our Motorhome is completely covered during winter and snow removed from the roof on a regular basis. The first year we owned it we had it indoor stored.
This is a list of extra's that have been added by us and the previous owner along with some other info...
The good...
- 6 - New Michelin XRV tires installed last spring (2017)
- 4 - custom fit tire covers, they fit better than store bought and also cover more of the tire. (2017)
- Installed a "Tiger Track" bar on the rear axle, this upgrade helps with side to side motion of the rear-end when being passed by a transport and in windy conditions. (2016)
- Installed "Sumo-Springs" on the front axle to help with stability over rough surfaces and windy conditions. (2017)
- New chassis battery, purchased from Total Battery (2017)
- 2 - New coach batteries. After much research we found that Golf-Cart batteries are being used as a replacement for the original deep cycle coach batteries, we also went with one of the most recommended brands "Trojan" also from Total Battery (2017)
- LED lighting upgrade on most lighting, inside and out.
- 12 foot propane extension hose with shut-off valve and BBQ connector located by the door for convenience. (2017)
- New mattress custom fit by Lapensee (2013 but rarely used)
- I also added a custom screen door handle from Amazon, it's a nice little addition.
- It also comes with a winter cover, it has a couple of minor rips on the roof section but I have the patch material to fix them.
- There is a King-Dome satellite dish mounted on the roof, all the wiring and controls are installed and it looks to have been professionally installed. The system was there when we purchased the Motorhome but we have never used it.
- Winter package, we never used it, was installed by the previous owner.
- Clear protective shield on the front of the Motorhome as well as around the door latch area, installed by the previous owner.
- Max-Air units installed on every roof vent (3)
- Front side window tint.
- Also, the original pedestal chair was swapped for the grey Wall-Hugger recliner.
The Bad...
- Side view cameras stopped working, I looked at the system but not sure whats wrong, the rear camera works perfect and the side ones will work intermittently.
- A compartment door mirror located over the couch has a crack, it was like that when we purchased it and is still well attached.
....and the ugly.
- This happened while turning into our driveway this summer, there was a contractors trailer parked on the street by the driveway with a ladder mounted on the roof that stuck out past the hitch and when I turned into the driveway....well the picture tells the story! Luckily the Motorhome came with touch-up paint and I was able to make it look a little better. The damage is to the paint only and not the fiberglass so it can be easily repaired.
