Well, I'm not sure what you mean by 'real.' I've thought about going to the junk yard and finding some OEM tow mirrors, but don't have the time right now.

On the other end of the scale I don't want suction cup mounted mirrors.

Slip-ons are what I had in mind when I started the thread, but I'll consider other options.

So, whatcha got?

Was just gonna make a suggestion is all....ones I have are for a 98 1/2 thru 2001.....try 1a auto tow mirrors.....I have the slip overs, but am using the ones they make that are heated, power adj., and head turns 90 degrees for towing.....they are using 2012 and newer mirror heads, on their own made stems to fit earlier models...also, they have turn signals in them

Bob, thanks for the suggestion. However, with 165k on the truck's ticker, I don't think I want to invest in $250+ mirrors.

ebay or body shop suppliers are a good source for that stuff...

I have purchased MANY mirrors and lights from a place AM AUTO PARTS on e-bay

I might have some slip on type from a 02. Do you have a picture of your mirrors?

I don't have pix, and can't get one tonight.

But according to the CIPA fitment chart in the Camper Clinic catalog the same part number fits 02-09. So if you have some that fit an 02 Ram 1500, they should fit my 03.
