Positive: Champion 2800 inverter generator

I think these come named as the 2800, which I have, some may be called 3000. Some are black, some yellow. Some are started with a rope pull, others have electric ( or even remote ) start. Other than the starting differences, I think they all have the same specs.

Mine is the black 2800 rope pull version. Got it at Costco for around $700. I think they can be had much cheaper now.

Anyway, had mine a little less than 2 years. Never really needed to use it. Might boondock some day, but mostly bought it for emergency backup. Started it a few times when new, for break in. But since then, it has not been started in over a year. Getting ready for a long trip in a few days, and thought I'd best test it out. Checked oil & put in about 1/2 gallon of gas. Just as every time before, it started with one pull. I'm so impressed. I really thought after sitting for so long, I'd be pulling & pulling to get it to fire up.
