Well I hope the same thing happens to you some day and then we will see how you like that level of customer support. This situation is easily resolved by the selling company to offer a reasonable level of support. Did they never expect to run it this situation when someone wanted to keep their product and install it on their new unit. No this is a company that cares less about customer support and I am not happy with their let the customer purchase product and throw it in the garbage attitude.

Actually I had a Patti-O-Room and I did need the clips. when I traded the first trailer in I left the clips so as not to leave holes in the trailer and ordered the hrdwr pkg. when we put it on the new trailer. I didn`t even see it as an issue. sure I could`ve searched for weeks for the clips. after an hour I just ordered the hrdwr pkg from Dometic.

Thank you Dometic for offering the kit. and not requiring me to buy a complete new room.

Would think the 2 screw ones would be better anyway as they won't scratch the surface when screwing them in.

Why don't you sell the rest of the kit on ebay?
Maybe someone else needs the parts you want to throw away and dont need.

Better yet send me the useless junk I'll sell it and make a quick few bucks.

OCs idea of the 2 screws is the best one. More stable and more strength. I would do that, No Brainer - and Dometic is not the only one with "great customer support".

If you want it bad enough, you'll pay for it. If that's the worst issue you have, consider yourself blessed. There have been some great suggestions here, and people are trying to help. Doesn't appear anybody wants to jump on the bash Dometic band wagon. It doesn't pay. We're all stuck with Dometic as a vendor to some parts on our RV's, and we'll deal with it accordingly, or as some suggested go elsewhere and make something else work. Again, consider yourself blessed you're not changing a front cap, whole sidewall, having delam problems, warped floors etc. You just need some fasterners for a room.

Well for all Dometic lovers out there I managed to find a supplier (much smaller than Domitic) who sold me the fasteners at well below half the price that Dometic wanted.

Once again thanks to Dometic for NO customer support. I will certainly avoid purchasing anything that has your brand name on it in the future.
