Gray tank care

What do you recommend adding to the gray tank for grease breakdown and odor prevention?

They make products specifically for gray water odor control. I bought mine from Walmart.

I use Dawn (or generic Dawn from Costco) and water softener or borax in both tanks.
We had a problem w the black tank valve and a repair guy convinced us to try Unique RV probiotics. Then the sensors quit and gray tank odors got bad. We went back to Dawn and water softener.

X2 for me also, after I flush the black tank add a few gallons of water and some dawn dish soap to the toilet , drive home, empty the tank again in the yard, spray yard with garden hose, if water is clear then tank is clean, I know it sounds gross but it's not bad at all, just don't want the sewer smell

I don't do anything and haven't had a problem. But DW doesn't allow any solid food or old soda to go down the drain, either.

Tech at the dealer told me to add a bag of ice, some vinegar and water. Then pull it a little while and dump.

I use the Geo method and have never had a problem with smell or tank indicators.

I use a ton of Dawn on occasion. I've also heard that some people will throw in Calgon water conditioner.

That's the Geo Method.
