RecPro RV Suprima Leather

The couch in our Cedar Creek 5th wheel has started to peel. The recliners did some time back and CC gave us a credit to replace them.

We are now looking for a couch and do not expect CC to credit us. Our RV is over 3 years old now.

My question. We are looking at RecPro RV furniture. They use a Suprima Leather which I researched to be a poly material. Accordimg to RecPro’s website the material passes a 200 double rub Wyzenbeek test. Has anyone bought their furniture and are you happy with it?

We replaced our jackknife with their Charles collection modular in the putty color. I think that is what you’re talking about (am at Vogel SP with almost no internet)

Anyhow, we have had it about a year and liked the first set (two end seats and a console) so much took out the dining table and added two more center seats and another console. The old just as soft as the new. And our dogs love it as well. No marks at all.

Thanks! Had just enough room on one side for the little end table that comes factory with the 27VRL and two folded TV trays on the other. The existing sofa was on the left with two reading lights. Added two more lights on the right side and USB charging ports over the two consoles.

We are thinking of replacing our home sofas with these.

I forgot but yes it was very fast shipping to Georgia as well. Also, each seating position comes as two pieces and the consoles are two piece as well. Everything locks together easy, and if you want to fasten them down there are holes across the bottom frame behind the footrests.

Just as a follow up does anyone recommend another brand of RV furniture?

How comfortable is the furniture? Thanks for the reply.

Looks good. What size did you get? How well does it fit the slide and how much room to get by when fully reclined?
Did the color match well with the rest of your 2608?

We are looking at the RecPro but we are concerned about buying furniture without sit testing. We sat on Thomas Payne theater seats at CW( I know, I know lol) and really like the comfort of it. Didn't like the price so much though. We found the RecPro online and are considering it as it's an inch less in width. Are you happy with the seat comfort?

We bought the 67" Charles Theater seating. Ordered it last Wednesday and received it Friday. One of the boxes was damaged and had the chair lugs sticking out. Installed in the camper and discovered the framework was bent out of shape enough to prevent the foot rest from closing. RecPro has been great to deal with. The order was placed, processed and shipped within 3 hours. The right side replacement should be here this Wednesday. Highly recommend RecPro. The one possible con is the seat back height. As we are not tall it's a non issue, but if someone not 6" they may not have head support while sitting.Click image for larger version

If we could have sit tested we would not buy..

This is an update on the Rec-Pro 80” sleeper sofa we purchased. Delivery was quick and I was able to get it into our 5th wheel with no problems. The couch looks nice.

We are not happy with the couch. If we could have seen one and sat on it we would not have bought it. It is not comfortable. We are average height people but when sitting the seat cushion seem a little long and soft and it is hard to get back support and keep your feet on the ground. My DW can’t touch the ground with her feet. She tried a throw pillow to support her lumbar but then she was sliding out of the couch. She mentioned she will probably need to get a hassock to put her feet on.

I see most folks on here are happy with what they bought but I don’t remember seeing anyone who bought a sleeper sofa. Mostly recliner type products.

It’s in and gonna have to do for now as we leave on a 2+ month trip in a few days. Don’t have time to futz with it now.

Unfortunately after having left glowing reviews of Recpro from our previous two purchases, we purchased another set for the house, Recpro sent the wrong color, and now they are unwilling to fix the problem. The only way they will fix it is if I pay for shipping. Was not my mistake, I refuse to pay extra when I did nothing incorrectly.

That’s next.
When I was speaking to the vice president of RecPro on Friday, he actually brought up the credit card company (I never did) and said “go ahead and try and we’ll make sure it gets denied.”

Dispute the Credit Card charge anyway, tell the bank what he said and be ready to prove your case beyond a reasonable doubt that they shipped the wrong product.

Has anyone had the Rec-pro furniture long enough to know how the vinyl is holding up? The vinyl FR used feels nice and soft but is disentergrating after two years. Any thoughts on the fabric vs vinyl that they offer? Any other companies offering a zero clearance recliner?
