RV Cable Grips (New Product)

While I was at the Goshen FROG Rally this year and I ran into a man named Jim Wright who had a great new idea for you to hookup you TV coax with little effort or tools. He designed this thing and started selling it at the Goshen FROG Rally this year and it’s called
RV Cable Grip”.

How many times have you had to screw in your coax at a campground and found the cable plug in the most awkward location that it was nearly impossible connect without saying a few choice words. %&!? If you have big fingers or have arthritis in your fingers you will really like this.

Well, Jim had the same problem and designed the RV Cable Grip.
It easily installs on to your existing coax and gives you more gripping power to screw your TV coax in and no more looking for that little wrench whatever the size is. LOL

OK I said enough and wanted you to check out the RV Cable Grip.

I am not associated with Jim and just talking about his great idea that you may find interesting and maybe use like I did. Yes I have them on my coax now.

Oh I forgot to mention Jim is a FROG member and will be at the "FROG-TOBERFEST"

Radio Shack ~~ a small piece you screw onto your cable then it just pushes into your RV and the post connection. $1.99 each. I have 3 different size cables and bought 6.

RadioShack Screw-on-to-Push-on Adapter $1.99

I bought a few of these and they never seem to hold onto the treads at the campground. They were always loose even after I tried to tighten the wire ring.

Not knocking the fella's idea.

*HERE* is a tool for $2.66 with FREE shipping.
It has a little 7/16" socket at the end that fits the coax connector.
These have been around the cable industry for years.

For some reason, they don't ship to Canada!

I picked up both the Cable Grip and the Coax Socket. I'll try them out. Thanks for the information!

FYI, the Radio Shack Idea was good, but they don't have them online and no more of those stores around here.

X2 Iggy: I also purchased (and Jim installed them on my 2 cables) and the work great in tight areas and with arthritic fingers!

I ordered them online and the picture was taken from online yesterday. Mine arrived about 3-4 days after ordered.

X2, I've used these in the past and they do slip on but in a lot of campgrounds not tight enough. Also with the weight of the cable pulling down they were not reliable enough for me. I took them off my cables.

For those of y'all that have Comcast/XFINITY....the next time you get a visit from one of their techs ask them to replace the connectors on your cable. They'll put the big screw on ends on and won't charge you. I always get a courtesy wire inspection from them once a year and had them do the mod.

We have been using these for over 10 years with no problems. You can get them on Ebay cheaper than Radio Shack.

Then do an eBay search for "push on cable connect adapter". 2 of them for less than $5.00 including shipping
