TST now offers flow thru sensors and internal mount sensors. Right now you can get the flow thru for the same price as regular and internal mount for $70. more (set 0f 4) on the 507 package. Anyone have any suggestions on which way to go....normal...flow thru ...or internal mount(they have a 2" or 3" metal valve stem) ??? Opinions????
Does this system have different transmit frequencies so as not to get a false reading from other campers near by with this same system.
Have a Cherokee 27l. I have already been through the flat tire headache and my tires show a maximum pressure only. What pressure should I set the tires at when cold
Each sensor has a unique ID. The monitor "learns" the codes for you sensors during your install. Absolutely no chance of false readings from other sensors.

This is true at max load rating, but not necessary if you know the actual load being placed on the tire.
Each tire manufacturer produces inflation charts that spell out the actual pressure to ensure complete tread contact across the tread pattern for a given load. So if you are loaded at less than max (and the only way to tell of course is to weigh each tire's load) you can run a reduced pressure.
Axles must be matched. So if the load on a right tire is 2000 and the load on the left is 2100, the pressure for a 2100 pound load must be used in both tires.
Most folks won't want to worry about individual axles, and to be honest most folks don't even weigh their travel trailer by axle let alone wheel, so they put the max in and let it go at that.
Rear trailer axles typically carry more load than the front axles so if you are close to your max trailer weight you should consider doing an axle weigh just to be sure your rear axle is not overloaded.
Some light reading...

Bought the TST system and it works great. First trip I did not keep looking in mirrors to try and "see" how the tires were doing. Everything you need to see is displayed on the monitor. Even illuminates in dark. Great product and I recommend to anyone towing any flavor of camper ...

And that is the primary benefit!!

Any TPMS is better than NONE. Knowing what each tire hs for press & temp is just peace of mind. Flow thru sensors IMO would be best as you can add or subtract press without have to remove the sensor (I must remove mine to + or -) kind of a pain, but how often do you REALLY have to adjust the pressure!?! I only do so if the press is below my indicated requirement as shown on the TPMS. Great way to start the tow and great knowing al during the tow.

I'm running 56 PSI in LR D tires. Alarms at 76 for high pressure, 46 for low pressure, 175 for temperature. So, 20 over, 10 under, and then temp.
I believe it's 20% over and 10% under..."%" NOT pounds.
You should be set at 61 or 62 high and 50 or 51 low.
That's the way I understand it anyway......

That is the way the Tire Traker works - it alarms when a certain % of the set pressure is reached. The "hard" PSI reading is what you set into it and then when that reading is exceeded by a certain % (+ or -) it sets off the alarm.
I'm considering on buying the Truck System Technologies 510 with 6 sensors.
The price for a 6 tire system is $299 with 2 year warranty and free shipping.
I'm think that you can change the batteries yourself. Can someone verify?
Someone also mentioned the new sensors with flow thru valve. I'm not sure which one I would like better or need? Any suggestions?
The question I have is they have a 507 with the buttons on the top and the 510 the buttons below the screen. I have an email asking what is the difference tother than the button locations. Waiting for an answer.
I found this video for the 510 system you to watch.

The TST TPMS limits are pressure and temperature, not percentages. You set both the high and low limits for your individual tires.
Your right but it says you should input the low psi 10% less than it is and a high 20% more than set psi.
My recollection is that it says 10 pounds less and 20 pounds more . . .

I believe the difference is the replaceable batteries.
I have the flow thru. They are a bit longer, which may pose a problem in some applications. I like the fact that I can fill my tire without removing the sensor. They do have a set screw which may help them from "walking away"..
After switching from the 510 sensors to the 507 sensors which have the user replaceable batteries and learning that if the trailer is idle for an extended time, like week/two weeks or more, the batteries will continue to discharge. I decided to make a holder for the sensors, wrench & spare batteries to store everything in one place.
Just watched both videos posted above. It is 10% and 20%.
OK, and I just pulled out the instruction sheet that I got from TST and it says 20 PSI above and 10 PSI below. It may be that their instructions are inconsistent.
In the end, either probably works; whatever you prefer I guess.

Received my 507 with 8 sensors. Trying to do the setup for the parameters and I find the lowest setting for the High Pressure alert is 101psi. I am thinking my monitor is not the "RV" monitor but the commercial truck system. I have an email in to TST but wondering if anyone has this same issue. I ordered from the "new 507RV" page on their website but nothing specified in the order as RV.
Second question, is anyone using the sensors without the anti-theft cap to make refills easier w/o requiring the wrench? Not sure how theft prone air caps would be.
Try lowering the low presssure limit and then I think you can lower the high pressure setting. I had the same issue and it took a few minutes to figure out.

If I remember correctly, you need to set the low pressure limits on the axles first.
As for using without the anti-theft caps, I use the wrench. Fill the tires the day before we leave and put the sensors on and take them off when we reach our destinations to save the batteries. Not worth taking a chance in loosing a $50 sensor/$200 for 4 to save a minute or two.
