Our 8801 is home!

Had a bit of a delay waiting for Carefree to build the door awning. Wanted both awnings on it before picking it up. Found two issues with the unit this morning and dealer had both fixed in less than an hour.

Driving it is a bit different than a motor home. Bit more body roll in it. Due in part to the stock height of my RAM. But 50 miles down the road it was like driving big truck again.

We look forward to many exciting adventures in this rig. Look for us on the road, or off road too!

Why your iPhone pictures are sideways (and how to fix them)

Just returned from it's maiden voyage. 2 weeks on the road.5 different campground. Left MN and went to Stone Mountain, GA for a week long event. The AC unit was able to keep the camper nice and cool in the extremely hot and humid weather in GA. Did not find anything major that was wrong with the TC. Some interior trim wasn't installed and the door didn't latch properly (fixed that myself). Other than that it performed flawlessly. Very please with the purchase so far.

My truck is a 2018 RAM 3500. Since this is my first TC I have nothing to compare it too. But I can say that driving down the Interstate with it I found myself almost forgetting that I had the TC on it. Truck handles the load excellently.

I either saw you or another white Ram with a Palomino yesterday on 694...

Nice looking setup.

Wasn't me. Haven't been up to the Metro area since late June.

Congrats on your new TC. I saw you noted it weighs 2405. Was that dry, or fully loaded?

Since this thread is over 2 years old and Keystone bought a PrimeTime Toyhauler last year, I assume they no longer have a Truck camper.
You might get a quicker answer by sending them a PM.
