Palomino 1251 Plumbing/ Operation

Hi Folks,

I recently acquired a 2007 Palamino 1251 truck camper. I am having a heck of a time figuring out the plumbing. Would anyone here have a 1200 series slide in camper that may be able to give me some general info on how to sanitize/flush/operate? It would be much appreciated. I thought it would be simplier than it has become.

Thanks in advance- Morrelli

Welcome to the forum its is a great place to get your questions answered. Your plumbing is not that different then a travel trailer just shorter. use the search function at the top right there tons of articles on sanitizatiotning

Seadog , thanks for the info. I did find some schematics of the plumbing that make sense. My issue is water draining from between the truck bed and camper. Slid it off the truck this morning and looked underneath. Looks like itís coming out from the inside of the base rail skid on drivers side, bottom. Maybe a burst hose on the way to the shower or head. It had some pink in the lines when I got it, but thatís not really a guarantee that it didnít freeze. Iíll have to start opening things up to see what I can find or maybe pressurize the lines from access points and ď listenĒ before deconstruction.if nothing else maybe fish a new hose in. First business is to wake ď sleeping beautyĒ so I have a helper for water shutoff duty. Wish me luck on that one! 😁

Still kinda looking. I didnít find much on the internet about that unit specifically, but there is quite a bit of stuff here. Go to search tab here and put in 1251. I prolly got 20 threads or more. Some of it might interest you.

Look in the step up to the cab over. Battery, pump, and water tank are all there as I recall. It may just be coming from the line used to put antifreeze in the system.

I almost hate to admit it, but I had no leak. I did not realize that two of the valves at the pump and fresh water tank were drains that operated push/ pull, I guess knife like rather than the usual 90degrees bs inline rotation. All is good. Just a simple repair on supply to head and all looks good. Thanks for the help all!
