I don't have a popup, but would imagine that to get inside for the potty, you would have to raise the top.
A cassette toilet is permanently mounted; might be at an unusual height, but doable... essentially the same as an RV toilet using a black tank. The one I have, has its own small water tank for flushing (probably around 4 gals) and a pump. The cassette is actually the removable tank, usually 5 gallons accessible from outside the unit. I had my doubts about liking it, but it is great. You can dump into any toilet, you don't need to find a dump station. My tank is even on wheels, although 5 gallons isn't hard to carry.
So far, I have dumped numerous times and haven't so much as a drop on me or outside the targeted toilet
Here a link to a porta pottt, which I don't see as a major issue for use. I only to urinate, thus far. And, plan to keep it that way.
