As my Alaska trip is off I put my SS 1251 on Craigslist last nite . This morning I already had an E-mail from some one in Mexico saying to get it ready to ship and a purchase order was enclosed ! I may already know this guy , I think he is a Nigerian Prince ! I could not find the purchase order but I am sure the guy is honest as he is a prince !

I had put my camper up as well and the stories I got were unbelievable.

One really came to mind when the caller said he was in the military and stationed in England. He would send a friend to pick it up with a cashiers check for him so he could use it to live in when he rotated home.

As soon as I asked him for his unit's deployed Autovon phone number to call to verify his deployed status, he hung up and never called back.

The crooks are out there; be careful.

Not quite as good as you guys, but last year my son and wife were looking for used toy hauler 5er. Found one about 60 miles outside town. Son had a friend that lived in the town go look at it. Great Shape...Great deal ! Son called owner and said he could be up a hour and a half with cash to buy it. Owner agreed and son went to bank and headed up. About 3 blocks from owner, he passes a 5er that looks exactly like the pics he saw. Arrived at owners...only to be told that he just sold it. Son got call from owner 2 weeks later to see it he still wanted to purchase trailer. Son was curious and asked why and owner told him the check bounced and they spent 2 weeks tracking down the trailer (owner had taken down the license plate number on the Tow vehicle.) Son drove up again, only to find the trailer heavily damaged and owner still wanting original asking price. Son gave him a friendly suggestion as to what he could do with the trailer....and headed home.
