1999 Sierra 36 ft, major internal damage

I bought this trailer in March, and got it situated aound May 1. After leveling and then getting slide in position, we tried to spend the night. The mold/ mildew spell was overpowering. I have torn up the carpet and laminate flooring and have found major water rot issues. I have taken down some wall panels and have found the same. I can fix the problems, but I have one question, "what type of weather barrier can I use on the walls up against the exterior skin? I have been reading alot, and have not found good answers. Any help would be awesome. By the way, my wife and I are selling our house and trying to downsize and want to live in this for a couple years until I retire.
