2004 Rockwood 2502

Hi all, im new to the forum and i recently purchased a used 2004 rockwood 2502 TT. The unit has some soft floor issues and with some work ive found the culprit of water damage. Im in the process of removing the damaged floors, aka 1/4" luan with 1 1/2" styrofoam and 1/4" luan again. Im looking for advice on what type if staple gun to use to refasten the 1/4" luan to the aluminum floor joists. I dont think i want to fasten with screws due to new vinyl flooring being put in and the fear of seeing the screws through the vinyl over time. If anyone has any ideas please share them with me. I will post pics of work in progress as i go.

Thank you
Andrew

I have done the same. I found some screws that sink lower than the luan and have not popped through vinyl. The only problem i have is the styrofoam i used isnt as dense as original and feels soft. Make sure you pick the hardest styrofoam possible. I might try spray foam . I couldnt find a way to staple into aluminum framing with the tools that i have. Sorry no pictures.
