2004 Wildcat 28RLS Information

Hi everyone - my husband and I literally just bought this used fifth wheel (our first) from a dealer an hour and a half away. We got very little service from them - no operating instruction or anything. We got it home and the slide will not move. They had it open at dealership so they obviously closed it. We cannot find the breaker box and the "manual" is pretty useless. Can anyone shed some light please?

sense i don't know ur trailer, lets start with the basic. do u have 12v? ie do ur interior lights work.
if there is a red turn key (mine is on a chain) close to the breaker box, try it in a different position.

i will ask a few questions to see where u r. maybe someone that knows the trailer will chime in with the correct answers.

if u have the disconnect, they separate the battery form the converter and the dc part of the trailer (usually the slides are connected to the battery).

We found the manual override and got it open to try and do some more exploring. Finally found the breaker box and everything was good there. We had power to all of the lights both before we plugged in to power and after. There is a clicking sound when we push the button but nothing happens so my husband is guessing the selenoid is the issue. The dealer warrantied everything for 30 days so they are calling us on Monday. Other than that I have to say I love this camper! Thanks for your reply. I appreciate it!

Got slide to work but it pops the breaker repeatedly. Fun to find what we actually purchased was a 27rl. The ceiling fan only makes a buzzing sound and I have to try to restring some of the shades. Live and learn. The dealer is finally agreeing to honor the 30 day warranty they gave us and look at the slide but that is all they will do. I definitely don't want to purchase another rv from there, but they r the only dealer within 3 1/2 hrs of here.
