2007 forest river cherokee 385wp

Hello,
i recently purchased an 07 forest river cherokee 385wp and it came with the onan 5500 generator. Could anyone tell me if it has a transfer switch for the generator. I have looked up and down and can't locate one. I turn my generator on but none of my appliances will work or anything when the generator is on and the camper isn't plugged in.

Can anyone please help and the camper place i purchased it from isn't any help.

camper should have an automatic transfer switch between shore power and generator. i have not seen a manual one. you will usually see this in the power bay where the shore power cable comes from.

have you checked the breaker on the generator? usually if you don't have power via generator, it's that breaker on the generator.

next up would be the main breakers from your panel inside the coach.

Look in the storage compartment behind the generator housing and it may be mounted on the backside of the generator housing.
