2011 coachmen forest river encounter

I can't get hot water! I can hear it running but do not know why the water is not hot.

Is the water heater bypassed?

When you say you hear it running, do you hear the water going into it or do you mean you hear the propane burning in an attempt to heat the water?

If you hear the propane running then the WH may be in the bypass position.

X2 on check bypass valve. Also you can check the outside shower, of the faucets are on but shower head is off, it can impact hot water temp.
