Good afternoon everyone...

Well, im looking for suggestions or any ideas on how to fix the front area located as soon as you open the hood..it looks like foam protection fell offoutside. Also, when driving Motorhome and if windows are open, you can literally see plastic blowing like a ballon..😅😱😱

im attaching pictures so you guys can see what am taking about..hopefully..🤔

You can buy new insulation pretty cheap on the internet/amazon/eBay. I was looking yesterday for a different project. I would try and replace as the new is self adhesived.

Here’s the stuff I used to line the entire underside of the dash from side to side.
It’s called Reflectix.
Make sure to buy the foil tape to keep it in place too.
It’s a difficult job because you have to work upside down, but it can really only be done if you remove the grill work found between the hood and the lower bumper......there’s nuts and bolts along each side to remove....that’s the easy part.
Have some one help you to cut the lengths you measure from the firewall to the front of the engine compartment. I did probably 8 widths from side to side.

Sorry about the poor explanation..that second picture is showing the dash plastic which is deteriorating because of air coming in when driving..

So a vinyl covering on the dash? 3M makes as good of products as there is... if you re-apply make sure and get the Super adhesive...yes it’s high, but one can will do a lot. Just follow instructions and it will work...new or old vinyl.
