2011 Shamrock - Warped Table?

I am picking up a 2011 Shamrock from a dealer tomorrow and when we did our walk through last week we noticed the dinette table is actually warped or bowed so it points up at all the corners slightly.

Is there anywhere to purchase a new OEM Dinette top or should I plan on breaking out the skillsaw and plywood to get something we could actually use to eat on?

Thanks

Chris

I would make the dealer replace it.
It's not only the table but it has to support those sleeping on it, when converted to a bed.

The dealer has stated there is not a factory replacement part available, so they are looking elsewhere for a replacement on the web. It is a used trailer, so I assume the purchase will be pretty much as-is, but I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction for replacement dinette tables.

Thanks

Chris

You might want to check with a local custom kitchen contractor. They may be able to make one almost identical to your existing one, may be tough get the same Formica.

Ours did the same on my last TT. Pulled it out and replaced with 3/4 plywood and glued on some laminate flooring that I had left over from a project. Nailed some trim to the edges and done deal. I owned it for 2 more years and my friend has it now and that table is going on 5 years in the wet Pacific NW with no bowing or sagging.

Yeah I think I might just make a new top for it, stain and seal it and call it good.

Got it home today, finding a few things here are there that need cleaning or fixing, but overall it is in excellent shape.

When the table in our old pop-up broke my hubby made a new table top with 3/4 inch plywood. He routed the edges and put a finish on the top that matched the "wood" in the trailer. The legs were the ones that were on the original table. It really looked much nicer than the table top that was there before.

I had cabinet shop make mine with the Corian solid surface. I was able to almost perfectly match rest of kitchen. New table thicker than old, that's the beauty of Corian.
