2013 Sunseeker GPS Issue

I recently bought a 3170DS Sunseeker with GPS. The GPS unit was re-booting many times on its own. I found out through bclemms@Forest River that Magnadyne was aware of this issue and has address it. Long story short, I spoke with Mark at Magnadyne Corp. and they are sending me a SD card with the software update on it. What a great company!

Thanks for posting this. I recently purchased a 3170 and my Magnadyne is doing the same thing.

Did your update work? I just got my sd cards for time and GPS issues from mark at Magnadyne. I install the updates and now the GPS will not start up.

FR, why are these units with down level firmware shipping in newly built units? Is the GPS re-boot issue root-caused? Does Magnadyne have a solution or not? If FR has inventory of units with down-level firnware why isn't the upgrade taking place at the FR factory?
