2016 Forester E450 A/C problem

My 2016 Forester E450 is 6 months old. Approx. 3000 miles. A/C from E450 has been great but last trip it's only blowing air/warm air and is not cooling. Where do I start?

Check the Ford manual. It likely is covered under the Ford warranty.

I had the same issue with my 2016 Forester 3 months ago. It was the low pressure cutoff switch on the accumulator. I called Ford and it was not covered under warranty. So I replaced it myself. See my reply to another thread with details. http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...ac-141085.html Let me know if you need photos.
Good luck!

Thanks. I'm not too swift or handy. If you could send photos or any more info, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks again.

We have the same model year, and I have seen other posts here on the forum where they have the same issue. Here are drawings and a photo from the internet. The switch is located on the quart size black can on the far left passenger side. But if you aren't handy I would suggest taking it in to a garage or Ford for the work as the wiring harness requires soldering. My disclaimer!

I have a 2016 Foerster on an E450 chassis and it did the same thing last year. Took it to Ford and they found a connector in the engine bay that was disconnected. Been working fine since. You were talking about th e cabin AC and not the coach I am thinking.

I called another Ford dealer and they said it was covered! I'm calling Ford Customer Service and apply for a refund of the parts. That's not right!!

Willema, take it to Ford under warranty!

Had my low pressure switch replaced 2 years ago. RV had less than 3000 miles.

Same issue as everyone else. Low pressure switch with 3500 miles on our 2016 3011 DS.
Drove back from Maine to WI with no cabin AC. Had the generator running the AC in the back the whole way back to keep the dogs comfortable in the coach.
