2019 Rockwood 8311WS subwoofer question

I have a subwoofer that is mounted under the queen bed. I've tried TV and radio, can't seem to get subwoofer working. Anyone know what the subwoofer is hooked up to and how to get it to play? Thanks.

I don't know about yours, but mine was really useless, it was behind my fireplace, i cut holes in the sides and put speaker faces on the cut out, the only way I could tell it was on was to feel the cone, they just do not work the way I thought it would.

That's the truth, but in the end everything is correct and works how it should not counting on someone doing it half, you know!

Correct, an amp is what you need. The subs are most likely wired directly to one of the stereo outputs (left or right speaker) from the radio system which doesn't have the power to drive the sub to a volume you can actually hear. So, buy an amplifier, one designed for car subwoofers, one that has both high and low level inputs (car types usually have both), connect the current wiring to it, starting with the high level inputs. If you can't get enough volume, change to the low level i/p. BUT turn it down first. Also, when it works, you will find that you may need to reduce the bass level at the radio to get a good sound. Too high an i/p and/or too much bass boost just distorts the sound, it doesn't make it better. Finally, remember the neighbours, they may not hear much of the mid/high tones but they will certainly hear the sub, all over the park.
