8280ws power drain

Just wondering how long will one 12volt battery last when it is not powering up anything. We just put a fully charged interstate battery in for the first time this year to check out our rockwood .and only put the sides out and in once and the left it for ten days ,it as dead as a door nail, Does any one know what it is running when parked other than the carbon monoxide detector, or do I have a power drain somewhere else.

Your battery is just fine. If you are not going to leave it on a trickle charger you will need a battery disconnect switch.

Internal battery resistance alone will discharge a battery. Add 1.2 amps for the Propane detector, the overhead ("off" voltage draw) of your Concertone radio and 12 volt side "off" power of your fridge, I am surprised it lasted 10 days.

I have the same generator and dry camp about half of the 90 days a year we spend on the road. Ask away; be more than happy to answer.
