Question 8317ss

We are currently looking at purchasing a 2010 Rockwood 8317ss, and our concerned with the capability of our 1/2 ton GMC Yukon XL.
Dry weight of this trailer is around 6200#.
From what I've read this vehicle should do the job with a rating around 8000#
Even with all the additional cargo that goes along with a family of six, is this going to be too much for my Yukon XL?

Sounds like you need the Yukon having 6 passengers alone. We pulled a 29' Rockwood with a much shorter wheelbase Tahoe with no problems at all as long as you have proper hitch setup.

Thanks,

The longest thing I've pulled is my boat weighing 4400#. To add 2000#'s to that and 10' in length, I wasn't sure.
