I have this awning on a 2007 Georgetown XL 370ts, I seem to remember from the manual that it automatically tips one corner when you get enough rain in it.

I have used it for 3 months and the unit seems to work really well.

Well on mine by the time I had enought water on mine to trip the auto dump it had bowwed the middle of my awning and now has that permenatly. I now do what was posted earlier in this thread, I tie one end lower with a tie down to get it to run off before it totaly screws the awning. I am not sure what a permanent soulution will be but I am stuck with this awning as I can not afford to replace it with a manual one. I am very sorry I never did a little more research into the power awnings before I bought.

Electric Awning

We have a 2009 Rockwood 8319Ss and it came with the electric awning. There is a black knob on both ends of the awning. I can tilt the awning to which ever side I want the water to drain and tighten the black knob. works great so far. Didn't rain this weekend so we didn't have to use it.

I have one on my Georgetown 370 and it has worked fine since day one. Since my license tag is RAYNMKR I can assure you it has really been given a workout. There is one thing I did discover with it. Last winter I didn't turn off the switch inside the storage compartment and at about 1:30 AM one morning it started beeping. My daughter informed me there was a beeping sound coming from the motorhome. Needless to say that cold air woke me up quickly. It took a while to find where the beeping was coming from but it was the box inside the storage compartment. I don't know if frost inside the awning or wind sensor set this off or if it was something inside the switch box but it stopped as soon as I turned off the switch. When I used it in the spring I just turned the switch back on and everything was fine.

I have a 2009 V-Lit from Flagstaff and would love to see a pic of those adjustment knobs. Anyone have any snapshots?

donjuanss,
I have a 30WRLS v-lite. A&E has a FREE replacement adjustable arm for the power awnings. It goes on the right side (non power side). The replacement arm assemble for the power side cost $300. The dealership can order the FREE arm for you. They will charge $30 - $50.

I am having mine installed now. I think I got them to install for free. They did not know about the arm. They have already done this for 4 or 5 other customers which they earned money off of.

Also, on another forum, a Flagstaff owner did use the FREE arm on the power side. He did the work himself. He said he had to notch the arm so the power cable would not get pinched. Other than that, it works perfect.
