A/C & Frig ?? Georgetown 378 2011

We have a one week old 2011 Georgetown 378 MH. Love it. Noticed two things so far. The 4 door Dometic Refrigerator does not seal of during travel and the door lock seems to work its way open. Second the single zone thermostats flash E2 error code when temperatures are high and the A/C does not cycle on. What does the error code mean? I am in So. Nevada and temps have been in excess of 110 degress. I guess it is a thermo limiter that shuts out the A/C. Any experience/knowledge would e appreciated.

There was recent discussion here about that. Dometic put in a thermostat that gives
and error and stops working if it's too hot.
Imagine that! A thermostat for an air conditioner that won't work when you need it most.

Short answer is put an ice bag on the T-stat until it cools enough to
come on then leave it ON until you don't need it anymore.
Once the AC comes on the ice is not needed apparently.
Call dometic for a replacement T-stat that won't do this.

Can't help you on the fridge door sorry..... sometimes a call to tech support found in
the manual for the fridge or AC unit can be helpful! Why not drop a dime and call
the support number for the appliance in question?
