A/C inside ceiling vents

Anyone have any trouble keeping the inside A/C vents open ? Some nearest the unit have no problems, but the further away they are they don't want to stay open. Is it time for a cloth-pin?

Forest River replaced mine for free a couple of years ago for the annoyance. There may have been a recall on them, I am not sure. I had to remove and turn in the old vents to the dealer though, to receive the new ones which have been fine.

Have you had a problem with the air not transferring to the roof vents at all?

No problem, have you closed your quick dump on your AC?

Yes, we closed the unit dump vent. We just purchased the unit new, and we are on our first trip.

There is something that appears to be a loose baffle inside the unit, that can be seen once the filter is removed. It is a white spongy material that is sticky on one side. When the dump vent is closed, the air escapes around it. Do you think that is the problem? I tried to reseal it, and held it with my hands, but the air still did not come out of the roof vents.

I can not say if that is causing it, but read the different threads in link below and hopefully you will find info required....
