Lightbulb A couple of electrical tools

I'm surprised I haven't seen any mention testers/meters for checking the shore power "integrity"

I picked up an IDEAL #61-500 Receptacle Tester
IDEAL INDUSTRIES, INC. - Receptacle Testers

this morning & will pick up the AC voltage meter (#29375) AC Voltage Meter - Item - Camping World

that CW sells the next time I'm in the US. Use both w/ a 110V 30A male/110V 15A female adapter & you can check the voltage & if the shore power circuit is wired correctly.

I bought 1 a similar polarity tester at Lowe's. I use it every time before I plug in at a campground.

An interesting note: I have the ground fault tester on mine similar to model 61-501. Most (if not all) campground 30 amp receptacles do not have ground fault, but do have it on the 20 amp.
