AC too loud

We have a 2011 Cedar Creek fifth wheel with 2 AC units.
The bedroom unit is too loud (even on low) for us to sleep at night and when the AC cycles it will actually emit a small but noticible "boom" noise and slightly rock the trailer. The AC seems to work OK, but we would like less noise.
Is there a super quiet AC on the market ??

Cheap fix, ear plugs if it bothers you that much. There are only a couple RV AC makers and I doubt one is much quieter than another. Alot of the noise is from the way the roof on most units is made as they act like a big amplifier for any noise on the roof.

I think you are right. We are just doing some wishful thinking I am afraid.
I can sleep through the noise but the wifey is complaining and when she is not happy no one is.

Amen to keeping DW happy.
But seriously my BIL is a very light sleeper and ear plugs is the only way he gets any sleep, I mean he is so bad a cat purring in the next room wakes him up.

I sleep with earplugs almost every night. My DH snores and will rattle the windows! I'm used to sleeping with them and it will most likely take some getting used to. I sleep much better shutting out all the noise around me.

This was something I really couldn't stand when we first got our TT. Just learned to live with it. I guess we're lucky in that our small TT only has one A/C Unit and its not in bedroom LOL.
