ac vents

when using the ac in our brand new 8314 signature ultra lite the vent will magiclly close by themselves tried changing the positions of the vent did not help any ideas

Little piece of sticky tack, the stuff college kids use to hang things on the wall without damaging the paint, on one of the hinge pins. Won't leave any residue behind. Adjust the louver and just stick it in. Glues are permenant so this is like a peel off caulk.

I'm having the same problem, it's very annoying. I keep them open with clothes pins, looks tacky but works.

a/c vents

I have a solution for our vent problem , open vent then with a small screwdriver disconnect the connecting runner at the fisrt vent blade install a tiny Oring and reconnect this will put enough drag so the vent wont open on its own but will stiil close with an easy touch
