I cannot get into your cart with rvpartscountry so I cannot see what you are ordering. That said, last June when I ordered my 15K second unit I ordered the Air Distribution Box (ADB) with the controls built into the ADB, not for a wall mounted t'stat. I did not have access for ducted air. I used a vent mounted over the bed to place this second unit. There was NO previous wiring for the second unit either. You state that your unit is already prepped for a second ducted air A/C unit. That brings up the question: Does is your camper pre-wired for the second unit as in 110vAC power supply and the t'stat wiring? IF you do have the pre-wired power supply then we would have to assume that your camper requires 50 amp service from the CG power pedestal. All that would be beneficial for adding the second A/C unit. @ Cowracer: When I added my second A/C unit my TT I did not have 50 amp service so I ran a dedicated 110vAC, circuit breaker protected service from the second A/C unit to a weather resistant recessed male plug on the outside of the TT just for the A/C unit. When I set up now I use the 30 amp receptacle at the power pedestal for the TT and the 110vAC duplex receptacle just for the second A/C. This has been used many times with both A/C units running with no problem.

The RV is prewired for 2nd AC and thermostat wire in wall. This AC unit will be ducted. Here are the parts...

AC unit...
Dometic 15000 BTU Duo Therm Brisk 2 Air RV Air Conditioner Top Unit Black

Thermostat...
Dometic 3316230.014 LCD Touch Thermostat with Control Kit Black

Ceiling assembly....
Dometic Duo Therm Brisk Air Ducted Ceiling Assembly | RV Parts Country

Am I missing anything?

read your post,i retierd from the hvac industry and a couple of thoughts, too big could have issues,as well as too little, since your current rv has 2 units that would guide you, since the new rv will be ducted you may try running the fans all the time to keep air flow at all times, that way they do not try to fight each other, all that being said I want to add a 2nd unit to my tt that is not set up for it,i read some of your responses and gave concerns of sandwhiching to the ceiling,do I need to add extra bracing? there is 4 inches of Styrofoam ins. in the ceiling.i am wooried about crushing the insulation when I tighten the mounting bracket to hold the a/c to the roof

Summer is around the corner and I need to add a 2nd AC this month. I have decided on a 15,000 btu unit for the bedroom AC. The main AC is a Dometic and everyone knows how loud it is.

What brand AC is quite compared to the Dometic. I do not need a low profile unit.

They are both loud, if your putting in a bottom drop it's really loud, i would look at the Coleman, they are a better unit.
