Adhesive question

What kind of adhesive is used around the mirrors in the wardrobes? My mirror is loose...want to shoot some of the adhesive around the frame to lock it back into place...

It's fuzzy but looks like silicone, which would work.

On our 2012 Solera, I believe it was hot glue. I re-glued with GOOP. No problems since.

Yeah my camera was acting immature when I took the pic. I thought it was silicone but figured I would run it thru the forum first. Chester County ehhh...your not far from me. I am on the other side of the bridge in NJ and get to find creative ways to tow AROUND the city of Philadelphia in order to avoid 76!

Thanks. Originally I was going to find a bracket that I could screw in but I figured that MAY not be the best thing to do for the cabinet frame. Thought that might compromise the integrity of the frame.

I've used the Delaware memorial bridge lately to get to NJ . It's a bit round about but SO much less stress. I am in southern chesco so I am not too far from hokesin DE.

We are nestled not far from the foot of the Whitman. Our last trip out was to Staunton Virginia. We left at 3 AM and took the Whit to 76, took the turnpike to Carlisle and picked up 81 south for 200 miles. BEST....TRIP....THRU...PHILLY....EVER!

We did several trips to the Hershey area last summer and depending on when we left, we took the NJ turnpike north to pick up the PA turnpike.

Well if it was done correctly 100% silicone is the preferred method.

Actually I should not complain. Knock on wood we have had excellent service from our dealer on the few things that did need addressing, and have had little to complain about our Forest River product.

Yeah I think I am going to peel off all the old silicone and just do it the right way on my own. Can't really blame the factory since these doors take quite a beating rattling around on the road...darn sure I would not want to be the guy that slaps the silicone on cabinet doors at the FR factory. Talk about a snooze-fest of a job.

Yeah probably the only time to avoid traffic through there...
