No, it is not a power awning. It looks exactly like the power awning that comes on the grey wolf though.

You open it by flipping a silver latch in the top corner, then pulling the rope out. Then you adjust it with the arms. I will try and get some pictures of it. But there is a pivot point in the middle of the skinny bar that is under the gas strut.

Could the issue be one of the gas arms going bad?

Mines just the opposite, I tilt mine down and it drifts up. :-(.

As previously mentioned tighten the nut that attaches the two movable arms that you push up or down to adjust the awning when open. Mine wanted to raise up on one side. Tightening worked.
