I've got the same darn awning, except the electric model. It is indeed a Solera. I don't know how they can call those things adjustable. It's pretty much a one-position deal. I can pull those adjuster arms down all day long and the thing just returns to its original position. I've tried lubing and tightening everything in sight. The ONLY thing I can see they are good for is if you leave one arm locked straight and bend the other side a little so one side is pitched slightly lower, it'll allow the rain to run off without collapsing your awning. You're not going to be blocking any horizontal sun with it or anything, though.
