adjusting a slide out

We have a 2002 FR Georgetown Class A motor home. We have been told that the bedroom slide out is "out of square" which I assume means out of adjustment. We were quoted a price of about $3,500 for repair and we had just previously replaced the seals at a cost of $1000, (diagnosed as being the cause of the leak we took it in to have repaired). Leak was not repaired and had to take it back in and at that time told it was "out of square". No idea how it happened. At this time we do not have the money for the additional repair. My husband is quite handy and I wanted to check and see if anyone else has had this problem and if they know how to repair it or can send us in the right direction. Slide out is still leaking because seals are not sitting on the side of the slide correctly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
