Air condioner vents won't stay open.

The AC vents on my brand new Georgetown 360 rear bath will not stay open, I hate to drive 130 miles one way to get them replaced, will Forest Riversend me new ones if I send them the inoperable ones?

couldn't hurt to ask. Call and explain your situation (130 mi from dealer) and tell them that they will save the labor costs for the replacement if they send them to you and you do the install.

I contacted Forest River warranty and they sent me new ones, its a known issue. They are easy to replace, it took me about 20 minutes in my 2902SS. My dealer told me 3 weeks! (1: bring trailer in for evaluation,2: look at problem, 3: get ok from Forest River to fix problem, 4: Schedule a time to install new vents)

I put (spring type) clothespins to keep the vents open where needed.
