Watch the digital meter closely, and this is one rare instance where digital is not better. If you have a momentary voltage sag, as when the ac kicks in, the digital may not respond fast enough to show just how bad it is. This is where an analog meter will shine, sorry, old school, sometimes. And yes, if you pulled more than 30 amps, the breaker on the campground supply should trip, assuming it is good, and accurate, and ...... Hope you get the picture. (the contacts may be welded close, who knows?). Good luck. Next step is to put an AC ammeter on the compressor line and see how much current is required at start up. Then you have to find a spec, but it should be less than 20 amps, because that's what the breaker is rated at, and probably all the wiring is rated for. (By the way, my opinion only, the dealer should have checked the current draw on compressor start up before he put the delay in. Would have verified compressor operation at least).Good Luck.
