ALTA Remote Control problems

We have the ALTA remote control system on our 2009 Silverback, when we got it back from Indiana after having major work done at the factory our slides would not work, we checked everything, had to take it back to the dealer to have them work on it, the circut board at the switch inside had been fried. No one can tell us why or how this has happened, anyway now Lippert is telling us it could be the Alta Wireless remote system is not compatible with the Lipper pump and that is what fried the board, we have never used the remote system, now we are told they have discontinued using the system, we can't get Forest River Cedar Creek to get back with us on this issue, Help!!! Our dealer asked if there has been a recall on the system on our coach??

The problem is, we were being told that the remote control system was the reason our circut board was zapped. If only there was more communication between the dealer, Forest River and the customer, We now find that the wire that was damaged when it was at the factory was the culprit. It took lots of stress, lots of emails and phone calls to finely get to the bottom of it all. Also if you notice your manual on your RVs doesn't only cover your rig but, many different ones, some of them different equipment,drives a person nuts..
