Awning accessory rail hooks

DW has some lights we used to hang on our old awning and wishes I'd hang them on our new one when we're staying for awhile.
If I use the nylon hooks, can the just roll up in a solera power awning, or do I need to remove them each time?

The ones I've had for many years are called Rollemup you can still buy them . They're velcro and you can roll the awning with them installed. Still use the original set , been on 3 tts

I have some like this - you have to remove the S hooks but the nylon piece with the grommet can stay in. Been on two TT's for 10+ years and has not caused any issues.
