Awning cleaning
How do I get rid of these stains/spots.?
I have tried Clorox clean up…roll up awning and let it set for 20 minutes and then brush and rinse. No joy.
The following I tried spray on, scrub, and rinse...again no joy.
Clorox, dish soap, and water.
Simple Green.
Goo Gone.
BEST Awning cleaner.
Magic Eraser & Borax
Any help or advise is appreciated!

It would help to know what produced the stains in the first place. Do you know?

I don't have a clue. In August we stayed at a site in Georgia but I put the awning away clean as far as I know. 2 weeks agow we camped as we unrolled the awning that is what we saw.
Just tried Tilex and let it soak in rolled up for about 30 minute. Scrubbed and rinsed and the photo below shows the latest.
Any ideas?

Don't mean to hijack the thread a little but I've its allways best to unroll awning periodically
and all ways after a rain or dew to let it breath and dry. Moisture inside will mold or stain watch out for leaves being trapped in awning they will be a pain to cleanup.

HOA rules so it is stored off site. In storage there's no space to open. Have decided to remove canvas hooks to lower moisture during storage.
I guess will have to live with the brown stains…if it was leaves I would at least know what caused them.

Mildew grows anywhere moisture sits. It is a common problem for RVers that their awning has become stained. It's important to realize it is IN the pores of the material not ON the material. You may have lightened the stain a little, but you probably won't be able to ever get it all out. It is a pain. I've had stained awnings too and never did get them all the way clean again. Not much you can do about it. Even if you roll up your awning dry, when it rains, water can and will "wick" in from the ends.
Sorry I'm no help in getting it whiter, but just wanted you to know you are not alone.

Use Mean Green heavy duty. It will clean your awning like new and does not harm your vinyl at all if you rinse it after with water. I dont work for mean green but I can tell you that it is the best product also for your blacks streaks on the side walls.

Tried the Mean Green concentrated version....once again no luck.
I will say it has to be the cleanest stained awning I have ever owned...only owned one.
Thanks for all the advice....HC

Did you try Purple Power? I get it from Advance Auto or W-mart. I used it on my roof last time and it seemed to work good after a little scrub keeping it wet then rinsing thoroughly.
