Backup Camera Problem on 24R
I am assured by Forest River that they are working on the 24R backup camera problem -- in fact, that FR has made a proposal to the camera manufacturer which has request a minor modification which FR is in the process of doing. To my knowledge, Forest River has not yet decided if the "fix" will be covered under warranty (which I strongly believe it should be).
Also, I am working with the factory on the best way to rectify the fact that, although many of us paid for an "Arctic Package", the low point drain shut-off valves located just behind the coach step are fully exposed to the elements. Also, the weather-seal on the outside of the rear slider may be chewed up by the extension track (FR has agreed that this is a warranty issue). Lastly, I'm very disappointed with the factory fixed mount on the bedroom TV which requires viewing at an ~30 degree angle (FR has made a suggestion or two). Like you, I am very pleased with the 24R overall, but there are some glitches which shouldn't have escaped the factory.
