Bathroom door

Arrived at CG and bathroom door won't latch closed. The little door thing that goes in door frame hole seems to have moved bout 1/4" up. How do I fix this? Or do I put on list for warranty work this is our 1 at real trip interstate and everything ! Lol

Many times this will happen if you are not perfectly level.

First, check to see if you have leveled the tt properly. If the tt is twisted it could keep the door shutting.

That should be okay. Just check to make sure nothing is in the way of the slides.

Before you do that, raise the stabilizers and check the door. You may have the front or rear raised too high with the stabilizers.

Just as a TTP, I never move with slides out. Not even a little.

On second thought......
I have seen it done without any problems, but I've never done it myself. Since all it takes is a simple push of a button to run in the slides, why run the risk?
I think I have to agree with Ovair on this.

I helped a friend back his trailer into his camping spot. Once we got it in where he was happy I asked him if we should level it as it was noticably higher on 1 side. His response was "thats what the leveling jack are for". When he was done the side door was rubbing on the frame and was binding when he tried to open and close the door. It looked like to me that in the process of leveling the trailer that he had twisted the frame. This was a brand new StarCraft trailer about 26 feet long.

I would do what was already mentioned earlier, raise the jacks and then check the door for alignment. Then lower jacks again paying attention to the bathroom door. It is possible that things may have move abit and the door plate may have to be readjusted. I also would not move the trailer with the slides out, even for a few feet. It takes less than a minute to move them in.

I would not move it with the slide out like stated above - once the slide moves out of aligment - it will not be a good thing

check to see if the screws for the door hinge came loose - this will also cause the door to come out of aligment as well

I suggested that he put blocks under the wheels but he was totally against it. When the side door was binding it didn't seem to bother him at all. If this was my new unit, I would have investigated to why it was doing this. But it was his problem and he was uninterested in solving it.
