Battery issues

Hello

Need help
We own a 2018 Forest River Sunseeker
Stopped at a rest station and we had no battery power for the interior.
We figured the batteries were dead (we had it for two years)
We purchased two new batteries and I installed them
I was careful to hook them up properly
Next time we needed battery power, nothing.
I tried the re-set button that is inside our battery box.
That didn’t work

Any suggestions?
Thanks

did you measure the battery voltage with a meter before you replaced them?

i would check for two things:
- do you have a battery disconnect switch and is it set so that the batteries are disconnected?
- check for a small 12 volt resetable circuit breaker in the 12 volt battery cable. it should be very close to the batteries. there are different styles. try to reset it.

use a meter to check voltage at each connection in the battery cables from the battery out until you find where the voltage stops.

breaker for coacch battery.jpg

We put an additional breaker under the hood to protect the Coach battery. Please look by your battery and see if the breaker is tripped.

Hopefully this will help
