Be Careful with Rubbing Alcohol

I had a small bottle of 91% rubbing alcohol in my bathroom "medicine" cabinet for about 4000 miles. The other day I open up the TT and smell alcohol. The bottle had finally decided to fall over and spill half its contents, about 4 ounces. That was enough...everywhere the alcohol touched my faucet and sink, the finish was removed. By that, I mean the almond color of the sink is gone where ever it was splashed, as is the brushed stainless color of my plastic faucet hardware. Those things are still functional, but I now have permannet scars to go with my story.
Be careful where you store- and where you pour-rubbing alcohol.
