'beeping' sound

New at this. My brother had a wolf pack 18dfwp and he recently passed away. I now have it, and fiind that when the power cords and battery are disconnected it still has a 'beeping' sound. We haven't gone any where in it yet, but would like to know a little more about the 'warning sounds' I found a white box with two red switches on it over the stove area. if I turn them in one direction the noise stops, but a red light comes on. I don't have any troubleshooting or diagnostic info. I don't want to harm the toy hauler, but that sound worries me. What causes it and what should I do about?

thank you.

Could one of several alarms. You should find a fire alarm in the ceiling, battery operated. There is carbon monoxide detector near the ceiling, and near the stove, battery operated. Either of these could be giving you a low battery warning. There should be a propane detector near the floor, in the kitchen area, that runs off the 12 volt battery on the tongue. It will beep if the 12 volt battery is low. Almost sounds like it is this one and you have a bad battery on the tongue. Check the voltage on the battery with the power cord disconnected. Should be 12 volts, maybe more. Less than 11, bad battery, or needs charging.

Plug in the power. If it stops after about an hour I would say if is the gas leak detector.
That what happened to me when I let the battery run down. It would beep once every two minutes.

Sounds like a low battery charge to me, as well. Fully charged, then disconnected from 120v power, iit will only last about 2 weeks max until the battery dies again. Randy
