Black/grey water tanks

We have had our Forest River Sandpiper for 1 year and LOVE IT. Live in FL and love to visit the many parks close by. One (probably silly) problem - how can we tell which drains go to black water and which go to the grey? Any help figuring this out would be greatly appreciated.

Also - has anyone had any problems with their slide? Ours seems to be misaligned.

Our black water keeps reading full and not sure what drains empty into the black other than the toilet....

If you have labels, the one marked Sewage is the black tank, and the one marked Waste Water is the grey. If no labels, the larger drain pipe, 3", is the black tank. If you can't see the plumbing, you may have to hook up using a clear plastic adapter and open one to see what comes out.

Can't answer on the slide.

EDIT: I saw your edited note--the only thing going to the black should be the toilet. You may have some TP stuck to a sensor--perhaps flushing the tank out will get rid of the full light. Either with a wand down the toilet to spray around in there, or a couple of bags of ice dumped down the toilet to act as brushes while you tow it to camp to clean things up.

If you look at the pull handles on the drains, one is black (sewage) and the other is dark grey (waste water). At least that is the way it is on my Berkshire. Also not sure about the slide problem.

Black is toilet only.
Grey is bathroom sink and shower and maybe Kitchen sink, if you have only one discharge pipe with two handles for the tanks.

I have two discharge pipes, one pipe is used to discharge the Black and Grey tanks and they are marked on the side of the camper(with two seperate pull handles) The second discharge pipe is for the Kitchen sink or Galley with one pull handle and that is also marked on the side of the camper. Check to see if yours are marked.

If you have electric motors that operate your slides, and when you close them, the leading edge of the interior floor lifts up about 2 inches, this is NORMAL operation. If you watch outside, they are fully closed when the seal is evenly seated around the slide out. If you don't close them ALL THE WAY, then you will accumulate road dust inside your rig. If you have a side to side adjustment problem, your owner's manual tells how to do that, or at least mine does! Hope this helps! Randy
