brake & turn lights

Hi,
We are a new owner of a 2011 Rockwood Roo 21ftss. My question is concerning back trailer lights on the driver side. After storage, the lights were working fine and tow home the lights were working. Now the driver side is out. The brake, turn, and hazard won't work. We are attempting to fix this new camper (a left over and we used only once). We have tried to change the bulb..no good. We have tested the housing with a tester. The tester shows power when its clipped to the bulb housing and touched inside sometimes. When the tester is clipped to the bulb bracket/another ground it sometimes shows power. Yet a new bulb still wont work or blink. Even if we clean the contacts and move it around. We used a bulb that worked from the other side to test and a new bulb as well. Any suggestions.

Trailer wiring can be a headache sometimes.

I would guess that it is not a good ground, since you sometimes get the tester to light. Might have to trace the ground wire back behind the light, and see if you can find the loose connection.

Try the connector at the truck. I've had corroded connector. Once had those perty blue splice clips not making good contact.

just a question.
do you have a Roo 21SS or a 21SSL.
there's no 21ftss Roo model.

oh, maybe you mean a 21 foot SS model!
it's actually almost 22' long.
