buying a tt

Hi am new to this, I am a mom with 3 boys. I grew up camping and I love it, we have a pop-up and am looking to buy soon. I am thinking of a Salem. I like set up and price, anyone have any suggestions. Do you really use outside shower, little things like that.

first, we need to know what you plan to tow with it and the tow vehicle's specifications, such as engine size, rear end ratio, tow capacity.

second, it would help to know if you plan to camp in places like KOA/RV Parks or in places like a state/county parks.

not sure what you mean by, "i like set up and price".

First off, Welcome to the forums!

Since you have kids you might like the outside shower. We have dogs and after a run on the beach it's really nice to be able to wash the sand off them outside the rig rather than inside and putting the dirt into our tanks. My other tidbit of advice is that what ever RV you look at buying, sit down on the toilet! Most people overlook this very important fixture in an RV but it's no fun to by the rig of your dreams only to find out the first time you sit on the throne that your knees are under your chin. Doh!

32 BHDS Salem LE 2009

Yes, My wife and I bought a 32 BHDS Last year and it is our first travel trailer. It has a split bath and it has been helpful because we can all manuever within the bath area. Our boys are 3 and 18 months. There is plenty of room with two pushouts. I has a double bunk in the back that flips up and it allows them to play in the back room out from under the wife's feet while making dinner. We are pulling it with a 2002 F-250 crew cab with a v-10. Outside shower has been helpful when the kids have gotten covered in mud due to the nice weather we have in Ohio. Ha Ha Ha boys will be boys. The queen bed in the front allows for some peace in quiet as well. Couches and dinette fold down into beds as well for the kids friends whenever they get a little older. Been very happy with the TT. Good Luck in your decison!

Happy Camping!!!!!
